Polite Criticism in British English

British English often gives criticism in a polite, softened way.

Instead of saying "This is wrong", speakers often say: This might need adjusting, This part is a bit unclear, or It may be worth reviewing this section.

Example:
This section might be a bit unclear.
Real meaning: This section needs improvement.
